I work with clients who are ready to change something about their eating, even if we’re not sure from the start what that might be. I tend to be warm and compassionate, ask lots of questions, and laugh with my clients often. I meet my clients wherever they are in their journey of ditching dieting; I celebrate their wins and am honored when my clients feel heard, understood, and like they finally found a sidekick in their health care. I spend time finding common ground (music? politics? disliking steamed broccoli?), learning how food fits into my clients lives, and work with the many factors that influence how, why, and what we eat — including health conditions, culture, access to food, and past experiences with food and nutrition.
My goal is to help eating feel easier without shame, pressure, or perfection.
